The US government has recently passed a healthcare law that REQUIRES Americans to purchase health insurance. The US government also nationalized and now owns the car company General Motors. If the government can require you to buy health insurance, why can't it require you to buy a General Motors car?
I don't see why many of you are angry that you have to buy health insurance. After all, the government already requires you to purchase all sorts of services against your will: police services (military), legal services (DOJ, courts), roads/infrastructure services (DOT), food protection services (FDA), medical advice services (CDC), old age insurance (social security), etc. What's the big deal? You never complained about being forced to buy any of those. What makes health insurance any different?

Sep, 2017 update: Although Braincrave resulted in two confirmed marriages, the venture didn't meet financial targets. The Braincrave.com discussion group on Second Life was a twice-daily intellectual group discussions typically held at 12:00 PM SLT (PST) and 7:00 PM SLT. The discussions took place in Second Life group chat but are no longer formally scheduled or managed. The daily articles were used to encourage the discussions.
